CONT - GARDEN

The selected plot lacks the identity and use typical of a busy street such as Stodolní in Ostrava, where the proposal is located. Currently, the vacant corner lot contains a parking lot amongst a lot of trash and wooden sheds. The corner lot could be completed in the future and used as Stodolní Street is known - an active parterre full of entertainment and food. The design concept uses small and large sized shipping containers for dining purposes and is divided into two smaller courtyards that are typical of the area. The architectural concept emphasises the creation of an active and welcoming environment for pedestrians and visitors. The design complements the street line and creates a temporary structure that integrates into the space of Stodolní Street.
