STATION LIBRARY

The project deals with the completion of forgotten sites in the area around Císařská Louka and the railway bridge. My work follows a new proposal to revitalize the middle surrounding parts. It accommodates new residents and offers them a space to meet and spend their free time away from home or work. That's why I'm designing a new library for this place. It is situated in the mainstream of people travelling from Smíchov to Náplavka. They can find refuge with acquaintances, read a new book, or just lie down on a slope in the trees with coffee, and have a public-mezzanine gallery, a lecture room, or a multipurpose room. So that a diverse range of actions can be found here.
