ACCIPITER –historical reconstruction of the Jestřábí boudy set in the Krkonoše mountains
Annotation
ACCIPITER – historical reconstruction of Jestřábí boudy in the Giant Mountains is a design of the historical form of initially 4 buildings, built in 1936-38 as accommodation for soldiers of the Czechoslovak army building border fortifications. These were typified buildings realized on the Zlaté návrší near the memorial of Hanč and Vrbata.
Archival sources on the structure of the buildings that disappeared in 1986 have been preserved in the National Archives of the Czech Republic (esp. reconstruction by German researchers in 1940), and older documentation in the Military Central Archive. Based on research and original photos, historical reconstruction was carried out, including use (and expected equipment) of the rooms based on the description, the composition of the structures is unknown.
