Residence in Vinohrady

The line of Vinohradská street opens in the part of the tram loop of Olšanské hřbitovy and spills into the Jiřího z Lobkovic park square. I keep the tram loop unchanged and plant the mass of the house on this traffic island, complete the street line and close the park. The house serves as a wall with a gate from the busy Vinohradská street to green gardens. The housing concept is based on the generous interiors of apartments in Vinohrady. Apartment life is concentrated in a central open living space which together with the whole house opens through loggias to the park. The ground floor is divided into three parts and allows the residents of Vinohrady to freely pass through the area. The proposed park arrangement responds to the ground-floor commercial areas.
