New Spořilov

The urban design proposal for Nový Spořilov connects three scales, capturing the newly proposed features of the area. The main pillars of the plan are the existing traffic situation, including the ongoing plan to cover the Spořilov connector running through the Spořilov housing estate, extending the current tram line (which currently ends just past the Southern connector) to Jižní Město, and the creation of a new train station. Based on these factors, we have functionally divided the area into three parts: the southern part under the highway, the central part, and the northern part. These three focal points have become the centerpieces of our thinking and the resulting design.
