As the site of my project, I chose the brownfield of the unfinished security center for metro line B near the Libeňský plynojem. In this non-traditional location, I created a home for the elderly, which aims to create a community environment with a range of leisure activities for an active senior life. The home has a workshop for carving and ceramics. It includes a garden with gentle mounds around the paths with flower beds. These mounds also create a retreat with benches where seniors can sit and meditate. For the elderly, there are also raised beds in the garden for the possibility of gardening. Everything is designed in such a way that this space allows seniors both active lifestyle and the opportunity to find their own quiet.
