Apartment building with an orchard

In the heart of the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area, just under 15 kilometers from Rakovník, I propose an apartment building with an orchard extending into the landscape, closing off the building from the south and featuring a fruit dryer. Orchards have a long tradition in the region, though few remain today. The residents will care for the orchard and dryer, fostering a sense of community. The site, currently home to a dilapidated barn, will be replaced by this new building, revitalizing the sparsely populated area. The apartment building is designed with a shared ground floor for orchard maintenance and the fruit dryer, while the upper floor features duplex apartments with corridor entrances.
