Nature's hug

My proposal for the transformation of a former landfill in Mali Číčovice draws inspiration from the Chata pri Zelenom plese in the Tatras and combines the raw beauty of the mountains with the feeling of safety in a man-made chalet. The key element is the central ellipse that forms the heart of the space. From it, cascading terraces rise, their shape gradually changing from the geometric precision of the ellipse to organic and flowing lines, reminiscent of the dynamics of the landscape. Inside the ellipse is a tranquil pool - a mirror of nature that reflects the sky and the surrounding scenery. Next to the pool grows a fruit tree, an ancient apple tree. The apple tree symbolizes regeneration and fertility, contrasting with the industrial past of the place.
