Urban building in Jirkov with a library

The house looks serious and simple from the outside but feels alive inside. It faces the square with respect and opens to the courtyard as a friendly place where neighbors greet each other, water plants, and hang laundry. I’m working with a place that has no reason for people to stay. It’s a center with no meeting spots unless there’s a reason. It needs a space to just be - to bring visitors or to come without plans. I’m adding what’s missing - a place that gives life and meaning to the square. On the ground floor is a library for all ages, locals and visitors, for those who want company or peace.
