Monogram

During the year, several mutually related topics were assigned, the tasks focused on the processing of various materials mainly by hand or by using the machinery of the workshops of the FA ČVUT. The initial assignment of the ZS was wooden spatulas - one created by hand, the other by machines. Their functionality was verified by modelling a realistic study of an enlarged paint tube made of sculptural clay. Using a wedge mould, a plaster cast was made of this tube and a patina subsequently created. The second semester was guided by the theme of the actual monogram in surface, relief and primarily space. Topics covered included HPS plate vacuum technique, hard paper lasering, working with wood, steel plate and iron wire.
