Annotation

In the Studio of Modeling and Workshop, a series of interconnected assignments were given throughout the year, focusing on both manual and machine-based material processing. In the winter semester, the task was to create two spatulas from hardwood—one using hand tools, the other using machines. This was followed by modeling an enlarged paint tube from clay, producing a plaster cast, and applying patina. The summer semester was unified by the theme of a personal monogram. The starting point was a graphic paper composition, followed by tasks involving plaster, HIPS vacuum forming, laser-cut cardboard, pressed wood, sheet metal, and wire—each exploring the transition from surface to volume.
