Senior Housing Na Perštýně

The design is inspired by the rythm of village life. Paths converging at a small square, neighbors greeting over a fence - these simple everyday interactions shaped the idea of the “vertical street“. A shared space created by splitting the house into half-levels. Instead of traditional corridors, the building offers a lively vertical zone filled with visual and acustic connections that support a sence of community. The building stands in a narrow gap in Prague’s historic center. Its compact, calm volume fits naturally into the context, as if it had been there for years. At the same time, its clean white surfaces and simple window geometry express its contemporary origin. A new, yet respectful neighbor.
