BLENDING

The design of the staircase and paths was inspired by the design of the entire area of ​​the heap, which is called Blending. The staircase is made of concrete, with smaller and larger steps that can be used for sitting or resting. The further and further you climb, the more the steps melt into the landscape until they completely disappear. In the case of the paths, blending is expressed by the incomplete border between the vegetation and the path itself, which is composed of stone sections to create an abstract image. The staircase inspired me to create a lookout that is perfectly suited to the highest point of the heap. It consists of two giant steps, where you can find peace and a view of Kladno. In terms of material, it is no different from a staircase - concrete.
