MONOGRAM

Annotation
Throughout the year, we worked on a series of interconnected assignments focused on processing various materials, mostly by hand or using workshop equipment at the Faculty of Architecture, CTU. In the winter semester, we created two wooden spatulas – one handmade, the other machine-made – and tested them by modeling an enlarged paint tube from sculpting clay, followed by a plaster cast and patina. In the summer semester, we explored the theme of a personal monogram in flat, relief, and especially spatial form. Techniques included vacuum forming HPS boards, laser cutting paper, and working with wood, steel sheet, and wire.
