MONOGRAM

Throughout the year, several interconnected assignments focused on working with various materials, mostly by hand or using the FA CTU workshop equipment. The winter semester began with wooden spatulas – one handmade, the other machine-made – tested through modeling an enlarged paint tube from sculpting clay. A wedge mold was used to create a plaster cast, later patinated. The second semester focused on creating a personal monogram in 2D, relief, and primarily 3D, using techniques like HPS board vacuum forming, laser cutting, and working with wood panels, steel sheet, and iron wire.
