HOUSE WITH THERAPEUTIC STUDIO

The family house is located at the end of the village of Holyně. I perceive this location as a symbolic border - the interface between the city and nature. As a place where a person comes to relax after a whole day spent in the hustle of the city, and immerse themselves in the calming embrace of nature. Because I wanted to share this experience, I decided to dedicate the house to a therapist. Its shape and volume responds to the steep slope on which it is located. It consists of two parts that are parallel to the contour lines on which they rest. The lower floor, made of reinforced concrete, is embedded in the terrain and serves as a supporting structure for the upper floor. The upper part of the house functions as an iron beam, which rest lightly on a concrete foundation.
