INTERSITIUM

The aim of my project was to create a walk-through building that does not get in the way of nature, but on the contrary becomes a part of it – a crossroads and a stopping place. The fundamental theme for me was the connection of the interior with the exterior. I designed the house so that nature would be constantly present – ​​through the windows, the roof garden and the smooth transitions between the interior and exterior. I added movable wooden panels to the facade, which refer to the historic Villa Maximilian. They are a contemporary way of bringing the spirit of the place, natural materials and at the same time working with light, shadow and variability into the building.
