FARMA URBANA CÍSAŘSKÁ LOUKA, PRAGUE

Farma Urbana is a design for a modern urban farm located on Císařská louka in Prague, which integrates environmentally friendly architecture, environmental education, and community life. The main two-story building serves both the public and farm operations — the ground floor houses service facilities, while the upper floor contains a main hall that can be adapted to various needs thanks to a sliding partition. In front of the entrance, there is a covered area for outdoor events, markets, and seating. The main building with the hall is directly connected to the caretakers’ housing and the greenhouse itself. The structure is elevated on reinforced concrete pillars due to its location in a floodplain. Farma Urbana also brings life and visitors to a relatively overlooked part of Prague.
