HOUSE ABOVE THE GORGE

Set on a slope at the edge of Prague’s Holyně, near Prokop Valley, this family house draws inspiration from the layered rock formations of the surrounding landscape. It has three levels: the upper two serve a family of four, while the lowest houses a clinical psychologist’s office run by a family member. The floors are linked by stairs but have separate entrances—family from above, clients from below. Nature is not just a backdrop here; with its calm, views, and fresh air, it becomes an active part of the healing process.
