CERAMIC WORKSHOPS OF TURNOV
Annotation
The ceramic workshops in Turnov are a place that sells the tradition of pottery to the general public right in the centre of the town. This multi-purpose building is designed not only for education and leisure activities, but also for relaxation and living. The architectural expression of the house responds directly to pottery and captures the essence of pottery itself. On the first floor there is a café closely linked to the workshops themselves through the use of its products and their promotion. The second floor houses the common workshops offering a wide range of workshops for the public. The third floor focuses on the work of the individual. There is a separate studio and an administration office managing the whole building. The last retreat floor is a spacious apartment with view.
