In the Studio of Modeling and Workshop, several interrelated assignments were given throughout the year, following the introductory studies at the Bauhaus. The tasks focused on working with various materials, mostly through manual techniques, and also served as practical introductions to the machine equipment of the FA CTU workshops.
The first assignment of the winter semester involved making spatulas from hardwood, whose functionality was tested by modeling a realistic study of an enlarged paint tube from sculpting clay. A plaster cast was created using a wedge mold, followed by the application of a patina.
The second semester was united by the theme of designing a personal monogram, tailored to the specific characteristics of the chosen material and the processing technology.
