The forgotten periphery of the Petřiny estate is coming to life, with its former garage building finding a new purpose. While some garages remain, most of the space is now used as a café, study room, gym, and multipurpose hall. Additionally, three timber buildings now stand on the roof of the original building. Two of them contain apartments ideal as first homes or affordable housing, while the third is divided into smaller units with private bathrooms and shared facilities, including a kitchen, laundry room, and bike storage. On the ground floor, there is also a public workshop. A new centre and public space has emerged in Petřiny — a place that blends the private, shared, and public, encouraging residents to meet and interact.
