HOUSE WITH A STUDIO

The building is located in a residential colony under Ptačí vrch in Vranov nad Dyjí. The design combines the function of a painting studio and private housing. The building is modern, minimalist and is complemented by coloured wooden slats that form a striking contrast with the light concrete facade. The studio is a separate mass from the housing, so that the artist feels isolated from the outside world, only in the presence of his own thoughts and ideas. The studio is dominated by a corner window, which allows a connection with nature and inspiration while looking at the fairy-tale valley of Vranov. In the living area of the house itself, an atypical design of the main living room is proposed in the form of a two-storey living room with a gallery, creating an open and airy space.
