TEAFOLD
Annotation
Just as a tea leaf curls during drying and unfolds again when steeped in water, this pavilion is defined by its ability to unfold and fold back together. The goal was to create a personal sanctuary that is not tied to a specific location but travels with its user. The object represents a balance between mobility and comfort. Its dimensions are designed to allow for easy handling and assembly by a single person, providing complete independence.
Inside, a space for ritual is born – a place for pausing and observing the world. It acts as a membrane between the outside world and privacy, whether situated in the silence of a forest or the bustle of a city. Although the space is primarily designed for an intimate individual experience, its shape allows for organic connection between modules.
