The bee yard for a beekeeping group in a school garden is a building of a central polygonal floor plan. This building is lined with a circular terrace. I tried to connect the interior with the exterior as most as possible. I achieved that by glazing twelve windows which are as high as the pavilion. There is a direct view of the hives, which are located around the building, arranged evenly in a circle. The windows in the open position function as a roof, for example during a summer rain shower.
