The house for Marco Grassi

Marco Grassi is an Italian photographer specializing in nature photography. For this reason, the house is located near Braník on the banks of the Vltava, surrounded by trees and overlooking the Barrandov rocks. The main concept of the house is the connection with nature. The front side of the studio is glazed along the entire height of the house, the side wall on the first floor of the house, while at work it offers a view of the treetops. Shading is solved by sliding walls formed by wooden slats. The residential parts of the house and the studio itself are situated towards the river. The wooden part of the facade was used for the residential part and the concrete was visible for the studio.
