David Čáp's Gallery

David Čáp's gallery is situated in Prague in Královská obora. The place is hybrid for exhibitions from this young artist but also a place to rest in the middle of the park. The building is partly standing above Rudolf's lake, which leads to the opportunity of beautiful view from all gallery floors. You can find an opened space coffeehouse (thanks to huge windows) in the ground floor. The coffeehouse offers bigger area in the summer months when the terrace is opened. The first floor is reachable by outside stairs. The exposition area begins in the first floor, continuing in the mezzanine. The full experience from the exhibition is supported from the specific shape of the building where we are. It is standing on massive columns that carry the gallery from the bottom to the roof.
