Holešovice Market

The goal of the final project was to activate the area surrounding the Holešovice train station. The project aim was to improve the area and facilitate the access to the general public. A personal aim was to avoid disturbing the architecture of the station, as I considered it to be an exceptional example of czech brutalist architecture. The marketplace is an activator, which can create social and cultural communities where residents meet and at the same time enables modularity in its use. The project allows for variability in its use. The stands are removable, which allows the space to be activated in a different way. The lightweight metal structure is made of HEBKO 120 profile and polycarbonate walls. The structure of the stand is also metal.
