Municipal house in Býčkovice

The Municipal House in Býčkovice is designed from two masses connected by a glass entrance hall. The main idea of the project is to connect these two buildings, but at the same time not to block the passage to the unused river bank. That is now accessible thanks to a concrete staircase that gradually descends to the bank. The main building is a spacious hall that faces the main street of the town. The second building serves mainly as a sanitary facility and space for the library.
