Atelier ManuFrACTURE

The House with a Sculptor's Studio is located in Strašnice in Prague 10, within the area of a former railway track that is expected to be transformed into a linear park in the near future. The aim of the project was to add more interesting places beneficial for the local community to this area, which is awaiting revitalization. The house is situated by the railway, where a former station hut used to stand. Nearby, there is also an old railway overpass. The new design of the house interprets the shape of this hut and other objectsfrom this area, striving to create a living space that is connected to the owner's art studio. The studio is linked to the outside by large sliding doors, which allow for easy transportation of large objects into the interior.
