Merry Christmas and all the best in 2022

We wish all students, teachers and other staff, as well as all fans of architecture and design, a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2022.

This year's card was motivated by the winning design Tout est connecté of our landscape architecture students at the International Garden Festival in Chaumont-sur-Loire, France. The Garden of Shared Consciousness, as the Czech title of the exhibition reads, is based on the idea that everything is connected to everything and everything communicates with each other. The students Háta Enochová, Petr Stojaník, Marek Kratochvíl and Jan Trpkoš under the guidance of Vladimír Sitta are behind the design and implementation.

The International Garden Festival in Chaumont-sur-Loire is the event of the year for landscape and garden architects. Nearly 300,000 people visit this, the most colourful open-air exhibition of garden art in the world, between May and November. "The festival is sovereignly the largest platform for landscape architecture in the world. Unlike other events, it is not just about the installation of objects, but always about the connection between the living and the inanimate world," says Vladimír Sitta, head of the Department of Landscape Architecture, about the festival.

More about the project Tout est connecté can be find in the article.
