The QS World University Rankings is the world's most popular source for choosing a university to study. Along with the Shanghai Ranking and Times Higher Education, it is considered the most prestigious international ranking. The top ten is held by universities with which the Faculty of Architecture of CTU has long-standing cooperation – TU Delft, ETH Zurich or Politecnico di Milano.

Architecture at CTU last appeared in the QS Ranking in 2017. Returning to the top 240 architecture schools is a great achievement. We want to further develop the school towards international cooperation, internationalization of the faculty and connecting teaching with practice.

"Together with the BUT, we are in the best company of the finest architecture schools in the world and we will work to be among the top 50. We need to strengthen our reputation in the Czech and international academic and professional community and focus on publications and citations. It will be a challenge, but I believe we are on the right track," says Dalibor Hlaváček, Dean of the FA CTU.

The rankings have been compiled since 2004 by the consultancy QS. It is evaluated based on criteria such as academic reputation, reputation with employers, number of citations, international employees and students.
