Founder of the globally active firm Werner Sobek AG, which currently employs more than 450 people. In addition to numerous awards and honors for his design and scientific work, Werner Sobek has, among others, been awarded the Order of Merit of the State of Baden-Württemberg and the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. The magazine Cicero counts Werner Sobek among the 300 most influential intellectuals in the German-speaking world
