COMMUNITY CENTER FOR SENIORS AND KINDERGARTEN

The diploma thesis focuses on the design of a community center for seniors and a kindergarten in Prague 3, Žižkov. The proposed building is part of the revitalization of an area situated among panel housing blocks. The design builds upon a diploma seminar during which the site was analyzed, a suitable building typology was selected, and an appropriate revitalization approach for the courtyard was proposed. The thesis presents a concrete vision for revitalizing the inner block and constructing a building that fosters intergenerational connections and strengthens the local community.
