The Children´s Center, Karlovy vary

The building is in the center of Karlovy Vary on the streets Pod Jelením skokem and Luční vrch. The children's center is a rather modern building, but it would be better to emphasize the historical significance of the city, so it was decided to make 2 different types of facades, as well as different zones. The center has 4 floors, which perform all the functions for children, and a cafe with a terrace in 5 floor. The center is divided into 2 zones: spaces for gathering and less noisy areas for studying. The part of the building that adjoins the hotel has a sloping roof and row windows placements to express the historical significance of the surroundings. The second part is more modern windows of different sizes, between which facade panels are embedded.
