Tourist Housing

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of tourist accommodation situated on a bridge structure in the village of Roztoky, Rakovník District, within the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area. The building spans the Berounka River and is conceived as a multifunctional structure that connects architecture with the surrounding natural environment. The structure offers short-term accommodation in a self-contained unit with a kitchen, bedroom, sanitary facilities, and views of the landscape. On the upper floor, there is a pub accessible to both the public and the accommodated guests. The roof level also functions as a pedestrian footbridge, connecting both banks of the river. The bridge is supported by two pillars anchored directly in the riverbed.
