Hotel "Žižkov"
Architecture and Urbanism, Bachelor Project

Annotation
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a new hotel in the Žižkov district of Prague, located between Roháčova and Hartigova streets the last undeveloped block in this densely populated area. The aim of the project is to sensitively complement the existing urban fabric while bringing new spatial and architectural quality to the site. Together with an office building and a publicly accessible garden, the hotel forms a coherent urban complex that connects private and public functions and creates a vibrant city parterre. Architecturally, the building is shaped as a simple volume with a regular grid of French windows, inspired by principles of modern classicism. Emphasis is placed on accessibility, sustainability, and user comfort. The hotel offers 128 rooms, a wellness center, a restaurant, and underground parking. The result is a design that meets contemporary functional and technical standards while contributing to the revitalization of the neighborhood and supporting local community life.
