HUMPOLEC FACTORIES

The factories are located in the very centre of the town of Humpolec. The site is contaminated by former military production. Both the buildings and the site seem to be rather chaotic, however this only adds to their charm. Even though they were constructed mainly to serve their main purpose of producing heavy machinery, they are endowed with a variety of spaces and different atmospheres. In my thesis, I am trying to find a way to preserve the buildings along with the principles of the sustainable development.
