CHILDREN´S ISLAND

The theme of the diploma thesis is the public space in the city center and its new interpretation. Location is the Children's Island in Prague. Based on the the latest expertise and current threats of contemporary society, it presents the need for a new type of public space that allows its user to confront himself without need to leave the city in a manner atypical for the commonly spread use of public spaces. The work raises the question whether at time then architects have knowledge like never before, if it is enough when with the phrase "human scale" we focus only on typological dimensions and it proposes to delve deeper.
