Annotation

Project for the school of architecture in Dresden is based on transparency, simplicity and straightness. Because of space between two existing buildings is close and confined and facades of both buildings are massive and complicated, new house should fit into this space and does not disrupt it. Thanks to maximal use of glass, relation of the new double facade to the existing on the both sides will not be chaotic and will make the space, which WILL BE and WILL NOT BE at once. The building is divided into three separate parts: quite part, chaotic part and central core between them with connection to lifts and staircases. Left part - quite zone - provides a good-quality environment for students. Right part - chaotic zone - is designed especially for the offices. Central part is not only junctor between them, but also gallery on every second floor - connected to the floor of enters to the studios with spiral-staircase. This makes rest areas for students.
