Faculty of Architecture, Dresden

The main intention of the urbanistic concept of the school is to connect the whole campus by making a new pedestrian bridge and a public accessible parterre. That helps people to cross the busy highway. The eight floor building is situated on the eastern part of the site. The diagonal western facade enable a straight way from the faculty of the civil engineering to the auditorium. The parterre is open for students from whole campus and for the public. There is a space for exhibitions and linear curved steps serve as a bench. Curved partitions create cosy spaces for relaxing.
