Reading Bratislava, analysing the city. Understanding the qualities of Petržalka Housing Estate - a city within a city for a hundred and twenty thousand inhabitants, which has remained in a state of a permanent temporality. Mapping the processes generated by the city needs. The project is a reaction to the uncompleted central axis of the estate. Three local centres complement the urban fabric and frame the city at its edge. The design is a strategy, both on the level of urban scale and on that of individual buildings. It defines the composition of the development, capacities, scale diversity, and the form of the environment.
