Apartment House near Vyšehrad

The project was assigned as a design of a villa residence in Prague under Vyšehrad. The designed building is mostly residential, in the ground floor there are commercial spaces intended as a gallery and florists, in the 1st floor there is one apartment unit and a stairway core. In the first underground floor garages and cellars are designed for the inhabitants of the house. In the second to fourth floor there are apartment units. The aim was to design a residential house that would substitute an existing courtyard balcony house, which as for the scale is not too suitable for the surrounding area. Therefore I chose a concept of a villa residence that fits more into the surrounding buildings.
