NEW MUSEUM BUILDING OF THE CITY OF PRAGUE IN TĚŠNOV

The aim of the project was to propose a solution that would suitably complement the remaining areas of Těšnov after the construction of the North-South Highway, while at the same time fulfilling the rich program of the City of Prague Museum, whose existing building does not provide enough space. As a result of the effort to find a compromise between the bulk of the museum and the local urban structure, it is a massive stone building separating visitors from the rush of its surroundings, which, at the same time, communicates with the city with its structure and facade.
