COMPLETION OF HOUSING ESTATE

The existing buildings in the heterogeneous development of Strašnice in Prague at the Na Hroudě tram stop break up the urban character of Průběžná Street. The subject of my work is the design of a multifunctional house that will bring new energy to the place and create an urban space. The house shares a blind facade with two panel towers. It actively works with the architecture of the second half of the last century and integrates it into the urban complex. The house consists of three masses - a long horizontal, which defines the street line and creates an active parterre, and two residential towers with atypical apartments.
