To create a centre for people, to complete the square and the gate to the city, to represent the city with dignity, to attract interest and attention, to stabilize the surrounding public space, to accumulate multiple functions, to be a respected building residents can identify with, to offer pleasant urban surroundings. Lots of demands are made on the new Nymburk library building. The goal is achieved with the help of the designed form, the appropriate location of the building and also the combination of functions in one building.
