Piešťany Airport Terminal

The task of this diploma project is to create a new building for airport terminal in the spa town of Piešťany. The town is located in the west part of Slovakia. The old building of the terminal is not useable anymore, so there is a possibility to create a new “welcome building” for the city, which presents a major challege. The  aim is to suggest a representative building, which should, importantly, also function as a sculpture in the landscape of Piestany’s countryside.
