Trutnov - Republic square

Topic of the thesis is to create new masses in the Inner city in Trutnov and to revitalize public spaces  with an emphasis on better integration of the river Úpa into their system. The work deals with the territory between the hill and the river, which is currently very confusing. The main space is the Republic Square, which is poorly defined.  The aim of the thesis is to deal with spaces according to their importace and to create The Republic Square as dignified opposite to the Krakonošovo Square. The proposal seeks to create a vibrant urban environments that will work throughout the day and will be well connected to the historical city.
