MONASTERY ŽELIV

The thesis focuses on the revitalization of public spaces and parks of the Želiv Monastery, as well as the industrial section that is currently unused and deteriorating. The goal was to find new uses for these areas and buildings. The result is a proposal to transform the industrial section into a retirement home, park, brewery, and community center. This proposal is elaborated in a detailed study, covering the architectural, urbanistic, and social aspects of the new functions of the monastery spaces.
