URBAN STUDY OF VYSOKE MYTO

This thesis focuses on the revitalization and integration of public spaces along the fortification circuit in the town of Vysoké Mýto. The aim of the thesis is to design a connected structure of public spaces with an emphasis on increasing the attractiveness and permeability of these areas at the city-wide level. The thesis differentiates the approach and intensity of interventions according to the character of individual locations and distinguishes between local and urban level spaces. The main element of the design is the elevation of Komenského Avenue to a significant urban thoroughfare, serving as the backbone connecting important civic buildings and adjacent spaces.
